“Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce the launch of the subscription to a landmark book in the field of entomology:
Insects of the World
Biodiversity, classification, keys to determine families
This book – in French and coordinated by Henri-Pierre Aberlenc, from CIRAD, Montpellier, France – is the work of 50 world-renowned scientists from 14 countries. It includes 3 volumes of 1000 pages each in a box, including 539 color plates grouping more than 5100 figures.
It is, at the same time, a synthesis of knowledge, a practical guide and an educational tool, which the authors wanted understandable and accessible to the widest possible audience, from scientists to all lovers of nature and the living world. It also will be an excellent tool to promote the protection of biodiversity.
