Song: No calling song, but low intensity song as in courtship above sometimes produced by caged, solitary males.

Range: This species formerly occurred in the Florida Keys but now is apparently restricted to the pinelands of Everglades National Park. See map for isolated Collier County record.
Habitat: Pinelands south of N lat 25.4° in Dade County, Florida.
Life cycle: In the laboratory at 25°C and 16L:8D photoperiod, development from egg to adult required about 6 months.
Season: Adults have been collected in April, July, August, and September; late juveniles in June, July, August, and September.
